For the Narrabeen Allnighter 2016/17 the main event is a trail race to complete the furthest distance in 12 hours.

There will also be two marathons, starting at 6PM Dec 31 and at Midnight.

The races will be held on a 5.275 km trail loop, adjacent to Narrabeen Lake, 20km North of Sydney.

The Marathons are over 8 laps. 

The trail is the bush trail that heads West from the start line at the Sailing Club

There will also be a teams event for the 12 hour race, for teams of 2.

There will be divisions for Male, Female, plus age groups in all races.  

The trail races have been measured, but cannot be certified for records etc. The trail is  flat, smooth and fast. Headlamps are required.

The allnighter races are sanctioned by AURA, Australian Ultra Runners Association Inc,

The race starts at Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club, Jamieson Park, off The Esplanade, Narrabeen, NSW, 2101

When

12 Hour and Last Marathon race briefings will be held at 5:30pm Saturday, Dec 31 2016.

First Marathon race briefing is at 11:30 pm and start at Midnight.


Aid Stations

The main Aid Station is at the Start/Finish.

The aid station will be stocked with water, sportsdrink, juice and soft drinks, fruit, cake, biscuits, chocolate, lollies.

A secondary aid station will be near the trail turn, with water, and some basic food.

Weather

Typical temps from 18 min to 26 max. Humid with a sea breeze until midnight.


Trophies.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st, and other places dependant on entrant numbers, for male and female in all events,

There will also be trophies for Age Groups of 3 or more.

AURA Member      10% Discount.

Refunds

Withdraw before Entries close. -  Full entry fee less $10 admin costs

After Entry Close, until Dec 14. - 75% entry fee less $10 admin.

Dec 15 to Dec 24. -  50% entry fee less $10 admin.

Trophies and awards presented at approx-

for the Last Marathon, after the 11:30 briefing.

for the Ultra and First marathon 6:30 am Sun Jan 1. 


Facilities.

Hot Showers available from 6:00 am Sunday Jan 1.

Toilets and cold showers available all night.

Parking

Parking is available at the start in Jamieson Park, and local streets

Parking fees apply in Jamieson Park from 7am to 7pm

Travel

By Car, either by Wakehurst Parkway or Pittwater Road to Mactier St Lights,

Turn West and follow the road adjacent to the Lake.

For travel from Sydney Airport-

Train to Wynyard, about $17, Bus, about $6, to Mactier St, Narrabeen, 1 km walk to the Start.
